What does my gift support???

As part of our collective giving, your pledge sustains our community, ensures our financial stability, and empowers us to fulfill God’s vision in this world.  The largest portion of our budget covers staff—a full time priest, and part time Director of Music, Communications and Operations Manager, Facilities and Groundskeeper, Thrift Shop Manager  and bookkeeper. Clergy and volunteers contribute to our worship, education, pastoral care, and outreach missions including the Open Door, Grace Center, Action Inc. our Thrift Shop and Regal Rummage and our parking lot which offers parking (at a premium in Gloucester) to our resident and business neighbors. Maintaining our historical property and keeping the heat on represents an often unglamorous but essential slice of our budget.  Our facility hosts 100’s of individuals each week that participate in 12-step groups that have long called St. John’s home and seek sanctuary in our community.
