Dear Friends in Christ, This week’s worship video is now available.
Choral Matins, according to the Church of England's Book of Common Prayer; download the bulletin. Please support our ministries, if you aren't already doing so. This week we welcome back Festina, who are able to sing together because they have maintained the discipline of a "bubble," that is, not interacting with anyone outside the group. Not even me — you'll notice that my sermon was recorded separately. While the Vestry's unanimous decision last week to keep our worship online-only will undoubtedly be disappointing to some, today's video should be an occasion of hope and joy. Festina has been eager to sing a service of choral matins for over a year now, and one of the few graces of the pandemic is that they finally have the opportunity to make that dream come true — for the benefit of all of us. They're excited about the music and how it turned out, so I hope you'll get into that spirit too. And I'll be delighted to see many of you at noon.
