Sunday, December 20, Fourth Sunday of Advent

Sunday, December 20 is the fourth Sunday of Advent. Find the readings here.

We’d like to have some photos of your crèche sets to use with the Christmas videos. Please send them to me, mark@stjohnsgloucester.org by TODAY. Thank you!

Please join us on Christmas Eve, December 24 at 4 PM on YouTube for the premiere of our 2020 Christmas service of Lessons and Carols. Members of all of the choirs and guest musicians will join to sing the great music of Christmas wonder, joy and awe. The video will be available for the entire Christmas season.

Good morning, everyone! Father Bret is on vacation so Mark Nelson, Music Director, is at the helm of this week's Sunday Service.

From Mark: Exciting for me to get to see if I could put all these liturgies together. You’ll be the judge of my success! Special thanks to singers who have been (and are still) singing Christmas music for premiere on Thursday night. Anne Bourne is singing now, a new resident of Rockport, and Megan Errgong-Weider is a musician and transformational Life Coach and friend of Mark. Guest musician Patti Pike is a singer, conductor and educator. During non pandemic times she conducts choral music at Rockport Middle & High Schools as well as Sorellanza, a women’s chorus here on Cape Ann.
