Lent: A Time To Reflect

As we all know, the season of Lent is a time for prayer and reflection a time to prepare for the Easter season. Starting with the First Sunday in Lent, and occurring occasionally over the next three months, we will be initiating a series of liturgies that focus on topics related to Building a Beloved Community at Saint John’s. Topics include: Loving Your Neighbor, LGBTQ+, food insecurity, homelessness, race and racism, and immigration. Readings, the music, and information materials will be selected that reflect the topic. Our hope is that these liturgies will help us to remain informed about what is relevant in the Gloucester community, thus creating a Beloved Community at Saint John’s. - Connie DeSimone Claudette Chmura
