EXPLORE YOUR FAITH
WITH ST. JOHN'S

Our congregation is a place where a great diversity of people feel welcome and valued: rich and poor, black and white, queer and straight, liberal and conservative, young and old. We include people at all stages of their faith journey, not just the devout and orthodox but also the doubtful, tentative, or unsettled. We are a safe place for anyone to explore or deepen their faith because we treat each other, and newcomers, graciously.

AND WHATEVER YOU ASK FOR IN PRAYER, YOU WILL RECEIVE, IF YOU HAVE FAITH

Matthew 21:22

We offer a variety of opportunities for connecting with God through our worship. Most Sundays, we offer services at 8 and 10:30 am. The 8 am service is a simple spoken service (usually with one hymn) in the traditional language of the King James Bible; it lasts about 45 minutes. Our most popular service is our 10:30 service in modern English with lots of engaging music; it lasts just over an hour. All of our services follow the structure of the Book of Common Prayer, so our services have a balance of order and creativity.

In the summer, when we tend to have fewer people in church, we combine these services into one at 9 am. Occasionally we will have a combined 9 am service at other times of year, such as the Sunday when we have our Annual Meeting right after the service, so it's important to check our calendar or read our FYI emails. Right now because of COVID-19, our parish is meeting online. View our Sermons or YouTube each Sunday to worship with us.
