 St. Johns' eBay Initiative

Do you have any items which you are willing to donate to St. Johns for sale on eBay? If so, you can help St. Johns' new fund-raising project, "The eBay Initiative."

eBay is the world's largest online marketplace, enabling trade on a local, national and international basis. At any given moment more than 12 million items are up for bid or sale. Browsing for items on eBay is very simple: one needs only to log on to the Internet and type in the appropriate address (which is www.eBay.com).
You can sell anything on eBay from sewing patterns, old toys, new toys, those new shoes that didn't fit, jewelry, old hub caps, tools you don't know how to use, post cards, stamps, baseball cards, that painting, of Elvis on black velvet, or that Gruppé you never cared for, cooking tools, crafts supplies, toy cars, boats and real estate. We would like to start with things we can ship easily, so we are going to hold off on items over 40 lbs. We will know better what sells once we have made some sales. To start we will try anything.

St. Johns would like to raise a minimum of $10,000 this year through this initiative. But we need your help. If you have an item (or items) which you might donate to St. Johns for sale on eBay, please complete one of our eBay questionnaire sheets for each item and leave it at the church office for either Don Cole or Jonathan Pope. Donations are, of course, tax deductible, and at this time very much appreciated. Also, if you would like to serve on the eBay Committee, please let us know.

Thank you!
