Youth Choir -
Got Joy? Let us tell you about the youth choir at St. John's. The youth choir is a ministry which strives to give our youth a safe place in which to make lasting friendships and to develop a keen awareness of themselves, of the world around them, of beauty and of compassion. We do this by studying great music from a thousand years and six different continents. We do this by working together as a group in singing and playing. We utilize rhythm instruments and study the African Drumming tradition. Some of our choristers play instruments with the choir too. We welcome singers from other churches as well!
Boys meet from 4-5 on Thursdays
Girls meet from 5-6 on Thursdays

Church School -
Through story telling, prayer, song and art each Sunday
during the 10:30 a.m. service from September to May, our children
come together to share our faith and God’s story as related to us in the Bible and the Book of Common Prayer. Our teachers endeavor to help children choose a path toward loving their neighbors as themselves, understanding the world around them, becoming
seekers of peace and the common good, and understanding themselves in relationship to God and Christ.
Our curriculum includes Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, Godly Play and the Children’s Episcopal Curriculum, and is for children ages three and up.
