Hunger Banquet on Valentine's Day

This Valentine’s Day: Have a Heart: Join us in the fight against the Global Food Crisis by
participating in a Hunger Banquet, Sunday February 14 at 11:45 am
A Hunger Banquet is an event that raises awareness of the magnitude of global hunger. People gather in
a room and select a number that corresponds to one of three groups: people who have resources to have
more than enough to eat, people who are barely able to obtain food, and people who lack resources to
obtain food on a daily basis. Depending on the group that you are in you receive a meal that corresponds
to the meal a group member would have on an average day. The event lasts about 45 minutes.
